Yoga 101: A Four Week Series

Back to School Yoga Kids

Back to School is fun and eventful and sometimes stressful time; trying to get little ones back on track with a whole new school year. Juggling new after-school activities, – it can be easy to feel a little overwhelmed as you try to juggle a whole bunch of different balls.
But hey, let us help! We have put together a super exciting Back to School Event for your little ones on Sunday, August 31st at the Yoga West! This will be a perfect way to set that playful and lighthearted intention and to celebrate your new Back to School schedules! This hour long workshop will incorporate breathing exercises, mindfulness practice, and simple stress-reducing happy poses while we connect our community of yoga kids to prepare for a great year.

The workshop is only $10 per child so register now because space is limited. And we Hope to see you there!

Looking to explore yoga and its benefits, but don’t feel quite ready to come to public classes? Yoga 101 is a perfect place to start! In this four part series, you will learn the foundations of yoga postures that are common throughout the different types of classes offered. You will be taught how to integrate breath and mindfulness into these postures, while learning how to set up poses for your body in a safe and judgment free environment.

What you get:
* 4 small semi private group sessions so you have more one on one time with the teacher!
* Instruction on the fundamentals of yoga postures, breathing and meditation techniques to get you up to speed quickly for public classes
* All students are totally beginners. You stay with the same group for all 4 classes

Mini & Me Four Week Series

Join Yoga West for a special class designed to give you and your little one an introduction to yoga in a fun, playful, child-centered way. We will enjoy songs, dances, stories, and yoga poses together and will practice breathing and relaxing. You and your child will have fun bonding and exploring the world of yoga together! Adult participation is required.

Ages: 2-4 years & their special person
When: Monday's starting 9/8, 4:30pm - 5:15pm
Cost: $100 for the series
